Collaborative Ministry Training is my hands-on environment for leaders who are ready to see churches in their area move from parallel efforts to shared mission. I designed this training for pastors, ministry directors, and network leaders who recognize that isolated programs cannot address the depth of need in their city.
The training begins by reframing how participants see their context. Instead of thinking only in terms of individual congregations, I help leaders recover a geographic mindset: one Church, expressed through many congregations, sharing responsibility for particular neighborhoods and people. From there, I lead participants through practical exercises that identify overlapping burdens, complementary strengths, and gaps that no single church can fill alone.
I then introduce simple models for inter-church cooperation. These may include shared prayer rhythms, joint mercy initiatives, coordinated evangelism, or collaborative leadership development. Throughout, I draw on real examples from my experience in multiethnic pastoring, law enforcement, and regional unity work, showing how to navigate common obstacles such as mistrust, competition, and theological diversity.
Participants practice designing a concrete collaborative initiative during the session, complete with clear roles, communication plans, and realistic timelines. The goal is that leaders walk away with an initial project they can begin within weeks, not just an abstract vision.
This training can stand alone or connect directly with my broader consulting work in Collaborative Ministry Strategy and Geographic Ministry Model development. In either case, your leadership community gains a shared language, a tested framework, and the confidence to move from talking about unity to embodying it together in public, sustained ministry.
